Ok the first thing you see is the screen below, the first thing you want to do is click the little arrow i highlighted in red



you will see this, click the box highlighted in grey



imput your name and press ok, then press ok again

next is the server



click the box highlighted in red

next click the box highlighted in grey enter a name, press ok and fill in the details exactly as you see on this screenshot. The password for the server is everlong



then click ok

now click Connect and you should be in the server.

Next thing to do is set up your audio inbound and outbound. As well as a talk hotkey

Click on Settings

you will see this window.



click on the checkboxes i have pointed out



click the dropdown menu for both imput and output and select your sound card as shown. This is so you can use the more advanced features of direct sound, such as changing the volume on a single user rather than the entire server



do the same for your hardware imput mixer thats here





finally, set a push to talk hot key. Ensure the checkbox highlighted in red is ticked. then click on the area highlighted in orange (anywhere within the box, you will see the text say "Mouse: button 1" after you click on it, this means it is reading imput)



Then simply push what ever key you wish to use as your push to talk key.. Common choices are side mouse buttons and Control.

Then click ok and come talk with us the rest is easy as pie ^^

With RF online in full screen mode, sometimes push to talk keys do not work whilst in game.

If you find your push to talk key is making a dinging noise on your speakers constantly, change it to either control or one of your mouse buttons
